About Phynomy

The silicon layer for the inference era

Phynomy is a deep technology company designing novel silicon architectures for AI inference. Our research starts from the physics of computation — building chips purpose-engineered for the workloads that power modern AI.

Our Mission

Make inference sustainable

Every deployed AI model needs inference. Running them shouldn't require unsustainable energy or ballooning costs.

The Insight

Training hardware was never built for inference

Current chips are designed for training — a fundamentally different workload. Using them for inference is like using a freight train for last-mile delivery. It works, but the waste is enormous.

Our Response

Start from the physics. Build only what's needed.

We study how inference computation actually works — memory access patterns, energy flow, operation structure — and design silicon that adapts to the model, not the other way around.

Leadership

Founded by builders

Deep tech expertise. Decades of research. Global operational experience. A shared conviction that inference needs its own silicon.

Principles

How we build

Physics First

Every decision starts with the physics. We optimise for real-world energy and latency, not benchmarks.

Adaptive by Design

Models evolve fast. Our architecture adapts to new model families without re-fabrication or recompilation.

Built to Ship

Not research prototypes. Production-grade chips designed for deployment from day one.
